Shipping and Delivery

 

For all orders placed with Salt Design we use the Spanish Postal Service - Correos - using a tracked service,

Our shipping charges are calculated on a flat rate based on your location

Spain and the Canary Islands 4.95 euros 
UK and the rest of Europe 11.95 euros
International  15 euros

UK CUSTOMERS

The sale of goods from EU merchants to UK customers have become imports (the receipt of goods into a country or customs union from outside country or customs union) rather than acquisitions (the receipt of goods from one EU member state to another EU member state).

1) Under the new laws, the sale of goods equal to or less than 135 GBP (approx 150 euro) require VAT to be collected at the point of sale by the merchant (seller)

We have included VAT in our advertised prices so there will be no additional charges at the point of sale. 

A simplified customs declaration will be required on each package- FORM CN22  

This form will be completed for each package we send out so as not to incur any customs charges on delivery. Customs charges are not applicable on any package valued at less than 135 GBP (approx 150 euro)

 

2) For the sale of goods over 135 GBP (approx 150 euro) VAT and duties are charged to the importer (customer)

Vat and customs charges would then be charged by the courier, to the customer upon delivery.

 

 

International customers-Please note, if you are shopping from outside the EU, you will be responsible for any taxes that may be charged on your purchase by your local customs.  All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges and fees are the responsibility of the customer (even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery). If you order items for delivery outside of Spain, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

 

 

National

Expect your items to be delivered in approximately 4-7 days

    Within the EU/UK

    Standard shipments to EU countries will be delivered in approximately 10-12 days

    International

    Standard deliveries to the rest of the world take approximately 10-14 days

    We aim to have your order sent out within 2 working days of purchase. Please note that we are unable to ship at weekends or public holidays, so please allow a little extra time if you are ordering around those days.
